Racquetball

RACQUETBALL. PERSPECTIVE.

Podcasting Racquetball

Friday, January 8, 2016

I released the first podcast this week and thought I would share a quick thought on why this came about. I never thought of myself as someone who would be good doing interviews or talking publicly like this. But when I realized that I could control certain aspects of the presentation of a podcast, I started thinking of what I would be able to share.

These things aren't meant to be interviews as they try to be conversations, though to get these types of things done, they sort of have to be. Over the past few years, I've had the privilege of being able to just get on the phone and talk with people deeply involved with racquetball nationally... working on so many things. The views on this blog have been foundationally built on the insights these connections provide me when I share thoughts here, like them or not.

I thought, what if people could hear some of these things? How cool would it be if people could be a part of the conversations that come up? Obviously, I am mindful that people will hear these conversations and some stuff won't make the cut. But the idea I hope for this thing, is that this would be a format for people to be transparent, maybe getting some views by others on topics I've touched on here.

Right now, this thing is wide open. Feel free to talk. Or just listen. While you drive, while walk, or just anywhere. Then go play.

Let's see where this goes.
