Proximity Racquetball

Less than two weeks from now, the Bi-Annual IRF World Championships will take place in Ontario, Canada. As always, for a good breakdown of what's going on with things, The Racquetball Blog does it's thing.

Team USA will be strong this year and looks to re-establish itself on the podiums. The team dynamics this year look interesting to insiders. Ben Croft representing the US in Doubles makes me take notice because of how things went down at the 209 Battle of the Ages and a little more interesting with the Portland thing with Rocky. I pointed to some controversies recently but I know, at the end of the day, Ben is a professional. Players tend to let go of some stuff pretty quick. With US coach and 209 patriarch David Ellis leading the team, my guess is that everyone is pretty set up to let the negative stuff go and perform well. I'll be pretty interested to see match ups and outcomes.
